I hope you’re all celebrating Easter, spring, or just sunny days! We’ve had surprisingly great weather for a few days, and I’m not sure I even know what to do with myself. I actually went out and did some yard cleanup yesterday?! Who even am I?!?
To subscribers of the Dailies - I’ll be jumping back into those this week! I’ve been cramming to get some projects done to post while I’m away, so I’ve been drawing daily - just not finishing much of anything since I have some ginormous projects I’ve been planning.
I wanted to add a little bunny to this newsletter for Easter, and remembered I’d sketched this little guy below! It’s a potential idea for the drawing book I struggle to return to; patrons know I had about a year and a half’s progress when life knocked me loose, but I am planning to return to it! I’ve been using Patreon as a drafting place for ideas for book subjects - so the numbered labels won’t help you here; those were for the Patreon post where I wrote up the bunny drawing.
But you can make a simple chocolate bunny just with the first steps!
Speaking of Patreon- there’s a post I wrote publicly over there soliciting a little help from students of mine about words you’d use to describe me. It’s free to read and comment on. Well at least I know you can read it. If you can’t comment, you can do so over here on Substack.

Madness: Three livestreams coming right up!
This Wednesday I’ll be livestreaming with Art Toolkit right HERE at noon Pacific on April 8 - please come and help me get through it! I’m weirdly nervous.
Saturday April 11 at noon Pacific - I’ll be hosting another Open Studio, and would love to see you! There’s no agenda, just a bunch of artists getting together and hanging out, and I put whatever I’m working on up so folks can watch, or I can demo as needed.
Monday April 13 at 6pm is the Atelier member livestream - the vote was pretty strong for pen and ink, so I’ll perhaps be doing a perspective drawing in the perspective sketchbook….you can test out Atelier membership for just one month if you’d like to attend.
